Opportunities
Investment Analyst, Summer Analyst, and Other Opportunities
The Office of Investments primarily recruits for Investment Analysts and Summer Analysts during Penn’s fall semester. Please see below for more information on the programs, our recruiting schedules, and how to apply. At other times of the year, interested Investment Analyst candidates may apply by sending a cover letter, resume, and transcript to Michael Lukasek.
Full-time Investment Analysts will work with senior investment professionals to monitor existing investments and evaluate new opportunities. While Investment Analysts will receive exposure to all aspects of endowment management, they will typically focus on one or two asset classes.
Summer Analysts are fully engaged in all Office activities by meeting with current and prospective investment managers and working on a range of analytical and research projects. Summer Analysts will develop relationships with senior investment professionals and gain exposure to multiple asset classes over the course of the ten-week program. The position has the potential to transition into a full-time role after graduation. Summer Analysts will work closely with a mentor to track their progress and identify their long-term career goals. Candidates should currently be enrolled in an undergraduate university program as a sophomore or junior.
We have proudly partnered with Girls Who Invest (GWI) since 2017. GWI partners with financial institutions to match and prepare young women—rising sophomores with an interest in investing—for summer internships through mentorship, enriching experiences, and a rigorous academic program held earlier in the summer.
