Sarah joined Penn's Office of Investments in 2022 and currently focuses on the absolute return program for the University's endowment and pension plans.

Sarah holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

What excites you most about the work you do at Penn?

The endowment's ability and commitment to being a long-term, value-added partner places the Office in the enviable position of being able to access elite investors and strategies around the globe. As a result, the work we do is constantly evolving, and offers continual opportunities for us to grow as investors ourselves. Rarely is there a day in which I don't encounter a novel strategy, uncommon perspective, or illuminating discussion.

What is the best gift you ever received?

A stuffed penguin that has accumulated great sentimental value.

What activity is at the top of your bucket list?

This one is definitely a stretch in terms of feasibility, but I think it would be a profound and emotional experience to one day take a trip to space.
